Name the Book Store Contest

The Friends and the Austin Public Library have partnered to open a new book store in spring 2008 (location to be announced soon). This store will sell the same great used books and media offered in the former Monster Book Store, which was located at 5th and Mary Streets in South Austin. That site will become the new home of the Twin Oaks Branch of the Austin Public Library (projected to open in the summer of 2009).

The new book store will include live music, book and poetry readings, and other special
events. We're looking for a simple, catchy name that reflects the concept of the store. A name that identifies the book store with the Friends of the Austin Public Library would be preferred, but is not necessary.

Show off your creative skills by submitting ideas to friends@austinlibrary.org by February 14, 2008. The winner will be announced on the austinlibrary.org website and acknowledged at the store's grand opening. Thanks in advance!
